Nature’s Anger

Standard

Nature is angry
Pours out its fury
On humans and animals alike
Yet man is the cause

We want a whole lot of things
Things we can’t sacrifice for
Expecting to eat our cake and still have it
Man’s folly I laugh at

The evil that men do
Is right at the hem of their garments
It follows them out, everywhere
And would never leave them

Man will always reap whirlwinds
Whenever he sows the winds
He could at least be sensible
And let the sleeping dragons lie
But, nay he won’t
Hence, he has brought fire to town
Nature’s anger on him is vested.

Time is not an Enemy

Standard

Live today like everyday
Not just with questions asked
But with solutions provided
Lives depend on these too

Speak to one no matter how busy
Tell someone of his love for them
Reason to them why Him they must accept
Let them know that today is equally important

There is still work to be done
Many more produce to harvest
The barn is not yet full
And the plants are long ripe

Time is not an enemy
Use it wisely in doing His bidding
Rather than do nothing to kill time
You can tell someone about Him
The result you will get
Is far more encouraging
Than killing one who was never your enemy

Products of The Past

Standard

We are here today
The now of our future
How we got here is quite unclear
But our pasts may be involved

We arrived from yesterday
Some made it into Now
Some were quite unfortunate
They ended with Yesterday

Let us prepare for tomorrow
The present must not disturb our plans
For in tomorrow, our rest lies
And there our rewards are received

Move through today
With impacts on life
And smiles on faces
Memories and moments of you
Will forever remain etched in the hearts.
